Our UIL One Act Play company competed at Bi-District yesterday and did a phenomenal job!  We ended up receiving the Alternate Award, which put us one spot from advancing to Area competition.

Our production crew of Riley Chapman, Payge Fannin, Asia Anthony, and Anna Seaman also were selected (from all companies) as the Outstanding Production Crew.  This is a major achievement and these young ladies did an exceptional job!

We are currently in the works of planning an evening community performance, so be on the lookout for a date and time.  We would love to see our wonderful faculty come and support and celebrate these students!

Our individual awards were as follows:

Riley Chapman: Honor Crew Award

Amori Jones: Honorable Mention All-Star Cast

Aaden King: Honorable Mention All-Star Cast

Mason Sullivan: All-Star Cast

Jessie McAfee: All-Star Cast

Safe Firearm Storage Information and Resources

As required by Texas Education Code Section 37.222 (House Bill 3, Section 19), the Texas School Safety Center, in collaboration with the Texas Department of Public Safety, is providing each school district and open-enrollment charter school information and other resources regarding the safe storage of firearms, including  information on section 46.13 of the Texas Penal Code. Districts must provide this information to the parent or guardian of each student enrolled in the district or school. The TxSSC recommends districts provide this information at least twice annually - at the beginning and end of the school year.
