BYOD - Bring Your Own Device
Bring your own device (BYOD) – Students can bring tablets/laptops/Chromebooks from home and access BISD network, textbooks, classroom websites, software, etc. All required and suggested software is free for download. Our network will support Macs, PCs, Android tablets, Ipads and Chromebooks.
Personal/Home use of BISD software - Our subscription to Microsoft Office 365(Word, Access, Excel, InfoPath, Lync, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint and Publisher) allows us to offer you a home version to install on up to 5 personal devices.
Digital Textbooks and Websites - The majority of the textbooks that we receive are now in digital format. They are available in a wide variety of formats. Some are on CD/DVD and others are web-based. This is true for all grades in junior high and high school and our students that take college classes.
If students would rather BYOD instead of use a school issued Chromebook, fill out the Technology Use Form and choose that option.

Microsoft Office 365 - Login with student email account
